Apprentice Gains Qualifications

Netherdown apprentice Toby Warner from Hatfield recently passed his examinations and gained a GNVQ Level 2 qualification in carpentry, under the guidance of Site Manager Mark Garrett.

Toby has been an apprentice with the company for almost 2 years and has progressed considerably, showing endless potential along the way. Netherdown fund their apprentices’ examinations and ensure the trainees are given the very best on-site practical experience, skills and knowledge to help construct distinctive Netherdown homes.

After 30 years, Netherdown have never compromised the quality of their homes and will endeavour to ensure this is always the case. Netherdown employ only the most skilled craftspeople (sourced locally whenever possible) who contribute to the consistent, high quality build for which the company is renowned.  Employing apprentices not only offers them invaluable training and experience but also helps employers address the national skills shortage. Netherdown recognise that the recruitment of apprentices increases productivity and helps companies build for the future.
